PalsNPets, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to homeless pet owners and their pets. We are a unique kind of organization providing services and establishing shelters specific to the needs of this group, who are often the most in need and we believe have a higher potential to turn their lives around.
Our vision is a future where services are available to support both homeless people with their pets.
We will grow and expand our organization to offer support to the highest number of homeless pet owners and their pets.
We will actively advocate to positively change the relationship and perception in our society to not judge the homeless for having pets.
We want everyone to see the value that having a pet brings to the life of a homeless person. Providing unconditional love and companionship in times of loneliness. A life which could be empty is enriched by the sense of responsibility and purpose that comes from owning a pet.
We understand that we can’t change the whole world alone – but we look forward to building a better future two lives at a time.
Compassion
At the heart of what we do is the simple desire to make the lives of both people and animals better.
Community
We believe that people in any community should support those less fortunate than themselves. We encourage those around us to support and engage with our efforts.
Education
We believe in spreading a positive message about the lives of homeless pet owners – and changing public perceptions as we do so.
Equality
We believe that a homeless pet owners should have equal access to shelter and services available to other homeless people. Our service is dedicated to a group that has often been neglected support in the past.
Resilience
We understand that we will face challenges as we move toward our goals. We will respond to setbacks we meet along the way with renewed energy and continue to push for our vision of a more positive world.
Your funds will go directly to helping homeless pet owners and their pets with shelter and services to move them forward!
