PalsNPets is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit providing supportive services for people experiencing homelessness with pets enter interim housing, remain housed, and progress toward permanent housing.
People experiencing homelessness with pets often face additional barriers to housing. PalsNPets integrates within housing programs to help address those barriers before they delay housing entry or jeopardize housing stability.

In 2024, PalsNPets provided integrated supportive services across 17 interim housing locations throughout Los Angeles. 62% of our participants with pets engaged with our ongoing supportive services, keeping them and their pets safe and healthy.

Founder Iliana Belinc was inspired by her grandfather, an orphan who found safety and companionship among street dogs in the 1940s. After gaining stability, he devoted his life to rescuing pets and helping people secure homes, work, and a path forward. His legacy continues through PalsNPets.
