palsnpets Experience across housing & outreach sites

Our services reduce the time housing staff spend navigating pet-related barriers complex pet resource systems, while helping participants remain compliant with housing requirements and focused on long-term housing stability.

Since 2020, PalsNPets has delivered integrated human supportive services that help people experiencing homelessness with pets obtain and maintain housing. Our work spans more than 20 interim housing and outreach locations throughout Los Angeles in partnership with organizations including PATH, Los Angeles Family Housing, Hope the Mission, St. Joseph Center, and Volunteers of America.

Pet Inclusive Housing Support

Our work across diverse housing settings has helped PalsNPets develop practical approaches to pet policies, participant education, housing-staff trainings, and individualized plans that help participants meet site requirements and remain housed.

Established Veterinary-Care Collaborations

PalsNPets already understands eligibility, referral, voucher, appointment, and documentation requirements. Our pet-specific intake helps us quickly connect participants with appropriate nearby services.

Prevention and Practical Problem-Solving

Years of on-site experience help us recognize concerns early and respond to pet behavior, preventive wellness, multiple-pet households, and other issues before they place housing stability at risk.
