Housing providers specialize in supporting people. When a participant has a pet, case managers often find themselves navigating an entirely different system of animal welfare resources, each with its own eligibility requirements, documentation, and processes. PalsNPets provides specialized human supportive services for participants with pets. We assess pet-related needs, coordinate services, navigate community resources, provide ongoing follow-up, and help participants meet pet-related housing requirements. Through established partnerships with veterinary providers and animal welfare organizations, we connect participants to veterinary care, pet food, supplies, transportation, basic grooming, behavioral support, and other pet-related resources, allowing case managers to remain focused on helping participants achieve housing stability.
